OUR STORY

Performance Crop Research (PCR) is located in Great Bend, Kansas and operates as an independent crop research facility with access to 3,000 acres. PCR has both dryland and irrigated capabilities as well as a small indoor greenhouse. Crops include but are not limited to; industrial hemp (CBD & Fiber/Grain), corn, sorghum, winter wheat, rye, teff grass and soybeans. PCR also conducts studies with camelina, canola, vegetables and sugar beets. The land is primarily sand, sandy loam and clay.

Staff at PCR have experience in efficacy, GLP Residue and GMO/regulated work. PCR is proficient in ARM program and I have been working in field research for the past ten years. PCR is equipped with a 6' Kincaid/Great Plains Plot Drill, 2022 Almaco 4-row vacuum planter with infurrow and seed treatment capabilities and 2021 Almaco RX small plot combine as well as a 16-row Case IH Early Rise Planter and Case IH 9120 Combine. PCR also conducts soil dissipation trials and is equipped with a 48-inch hydraulic probe.

PCR has capabilities and space to do both small and large-scale trials. PCR prides itself on a very high quality of work, timeliness, and attention to detail. PCR's employee's are members of NAICC & KAICC and have extensive training in all areas of studies.
